Robert G. McCurry
Robert has represented of thousands of individuals and business clients on diverse matters since 1991. Robert is a native of the Carpet Capital. Robert’s mother noticing her young son’s love of argument and speaking desired for Robert to be a Minister or a Lawyer. Robert wanted to be an attorney. Robert learned formal argument in competitive Debate for Dalton High School where he obtained the highest National Forensic League award of double ruby. Robert continued pursuing arguing at Mercer University in Macon Georgia on a partial debate scholarship graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in history and political science. Robert continued his education of persuasive argument at the Walter F. Georgia Law (Mercer). In law school Robert’s excelled earning American Jurisprudence awards for nine distinct areas of the law. During law School Robert was a member of the Mercer Law Review, inducted into the Order of the Cuff and earned Dean’s list each semester. Robert obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree summa cum laude.
Robert began his practice of law for a local large firm. As a young attorney Robert was selected to research, factually investigate, brief and argue the more complex cases from class actions, intricate insurance coverage disputes, inter-governmental issues, financial fraud, copy right infringement, business disputes, high assets divorces, significant personal injury and anything that could happen in the floor covering industry. During Robert time with his former firm of thirteen years,
Robert was blessed with the representation of several loyal business clients.

In 2004 due to the growing size of Robert’s former firm of which he had been a partner for seven years and the consolidation of the floor covering industry causing conflicts, Robert with his loving wife Donna decided to start The McCurry Law Firm. Since the opening of The McCurry Law Firm the legal needs of Northwest Georgia has greatly changed. Robert’s practice has changed and continues to evolve to meet the varied legal needs of individuals and business of Northwest Georgia. Robert’s dedication to tenacious and zealous representation of his client’s interest has not. Robert relishes the true elements of a trial lawyer that is exhaustive investigation of the facts, meticulous knowledge of the law, well written pleadings and briefs, through preparation and compelling argument.
Robert with his dedicated staff keep clients of the firm informed of their status of their matter. Robert as an attorney and counselor of law provides knowing legal advice as to contested issues of fact allowing the client to make personal and business decisions regarding their case.
